Kathryn Hines, PA-C, MS, M.B.A. is a vascular surgery physician assistant (PA), the director of surgical advanced practice, and the administrative director for the Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot and Wound clinic at a large academic medical center in Baltimore, MD. She completed a master’s degree in health sciences at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., a master’s degree in business administration at Johns Hopkins Carey Business school, and her surgical residency for physician assistants at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was awarded Outstanding Surgical PA Resident of the Year. She is also the recipient of the LEADer award for embodying her organization’s core values. During her time with her organization’s surgical department, Mrs. Hines was also co-director and instructor of the Advanced Surgical Training Program for PAs at the George Washington University. More recently, she served as co-founder and chair of the inaugural advanced practice advisory council at her organization. Her research has been published in the Annals of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Vascular Surgery, and the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
